Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Freddi Döring. Under reservation number 2233310, I parked my car at your facility from September 27, 2025, 04:00 a.m. until October 4, 2025, 2:30 p.m., as planned. Upon collection, I was informed that my car key could not be located and was asked to wait while it was being searched for. After 2.5 hours, the key was still missing. As a result, one of your managers had to drive me, my wife, and our 3-year-old daughter back to Dresden in one of your company buses. I handed one of your staff members an electronic key blank, hoping it could be programmed to start our car if necessary. The entire situation is unacceptable and incomprehensible to me. Therefore, I hereby demand the following actions without delay: Return of my original car key as soon as possible. Immediate transportation of our vehicle to our home address in Dresden, as it is essential for our daily life with a small child and our jobs. Compensation of €100 per day for each day our vehicle is unavailable, to cover the inconvenience and associated costs. The final compensation claim, including the total amount, will be sent to you by email once the vehicle has been returned to us. Since you failed to fulfill your duty of care by keeping our vehicle safe — the car was found unlocked on an open company lot, as shown to us by your manager — I also request a refund of the agreed parking fee of €68.04 to our bank account. I expressly reserve the right to involve my lawyer and, if necessary, inform the press, as the way this situation has been handled is entirely unacceptable for our family. I felt a little unsafe dropping my car key in the mail box since all of the safes were filled. I would feel more safe if this was a closed safe or locked more securely somehow but the mailbox with a little opening made it feel less secure. Thank you!
